Great satisfaction of the organizers, and enthusiasm of the participants, for the 5th edition of the NI-KKO ROMA OPEN 2020 , held in the Palatorrino on 22 and 23 February.

Sixteen nations that have decided to come to the capital with their students and companions. Saturday 22 was dedicated to Juniores and Seniores competitions while Sunday to Children and Cadets. The sunny days and the spring temperature welcomed the 461 members of the race, belonging to 50 clubs, with their respective coaches and family members, thus contributing to an atmosphere of celebration and great emotional participation.

The organization of the ExtremeFighters, directed by GM Bos, with the Masters Iagher and Minotti, M ° Gentile and Ms. Mimmocchi, was appreciated by all and ensured that all the registration and weight phases were carried out with precision and fluidity and that, on both days, the competition ended earlier than expected, thus allowing many to enjoy the beauties of the Eternal City and make the most of the weekend.

The organizers warmly thank the 44 national and international referees who have allowed the perfect development of the program and ensured the professionalism of the event.

The level of competitions was high, both in form and in combat, and undoubtedly saw the best of the categories on the podium.

In the IV-VI form competition dan excels, as always, the reigning world champion, M ° Lylian Doulay (France) who, for the 5th time, wins his category and also the title of Grand Champion. Timothy Bos also confirms his excellent preparation by winning the III dan shape competition, the -70kg combat one and, again, the title of Grand Champion sparring -70kg.

All our athletes gave their best and almost everyone, from children to seniors, went to the podium. Our children and Cadets are very strong!

In the ranking of the companies the ExtremeFighters Roma , hosts, in the first place, in the second the Crew Fighters group of Naples and in the third the company Sportschule D'Amato (Germany).

Sunday dedicated to children and cadets was a real celebration for everyone. The match took place very smoothly with great collaboration of the attentive and precise coaches and referees. Some disappointments for those who, this time, did not manage to get on the podium, and many smiles from those who instead took home the coveted medal, perhaps coming from very far away.

Education and fair play characterized all the meetings attended by the small, but very serious, athletes.

Lots of photos, hugs, exchange of contacts that can be the beginning of new and lasting friendships, this is the sporting spirit that we want to live and spread.

The organizers thank the sponsor NI-KKO SPORT , an Italian company specialized in the supply of clothing and material for ITF Taekwon-Do and other martial arts, which took care of the preparation of the hall and the clothing of the referees, staff and personnel doctor.

The FIGHT SCOUT team filmed all the form and combat competitions on Saturday 22nd on the 1-2-3 squares, collected all the results and made all the material available for free on their website . A new service that, with pleasure, we considered interesting to offer to the participants in the race and to all those who follow us.
